Confussed About New Year

Should do yah. The in-game date and time are tied to GMT and GalNet's talking about xmas so I imagine we'll have a change to 3301. It'd be the easiest way to impliment an in-game clock.

Nah, by the time the game is set we've done away with silly things like timezones, now there's just GST (Galactic Standard Time) :)

Wonder if this will be the start of a galactic war or civil war

The Empire will erupt into civil war for sure, I can't imagine the story going through all this set up and then the Emperor makes a full recovery and lives a few more years and all is well :)

3301 seems to be normal for the new year. However I saw a report this evening on the TV. According to scientists, it seems that Jesus Christ was born seven years earlier. So today we should be in 2021 instead of 2014. And ED should be 3307 ?

On the edge of the dying year, i foresee a lot of free sidewinders geared up with missiles,
competing in the new years festival of carnage.

Let there be wreckages to be salvaged in the new year.
Let it be born with a million bangs.

Anyone up for it?

I was told years ago JC was born in 4BC. Since there's no real evidence he ever really existed in the first place it's all a bit academic anyway.
