My hopes weren‘t so high while experiencing significant performance issues during Alpha. Reading the System Requirements suggested as well that I would probably not be able to play on high settings.

Now... I played the mandatory EDO training mission and after that was able to make first foot fall on a planet with a Thargoid structure were I had camped with my Cobra.(surprised being the first here, y‘all gotta visit the overhauled structures).

Not only impressed on how truly breathtaking everything looks - the performance on my mediocre PC is even more impressive.

Yup so far so good. Had some serious FPS drop at the hangar right at the end of the tutorial though so we'll see...

I still experience some 45 fps drops when walking around and especially in outposts with fire and stuff like that.. But an improvement non the less.

I'm sure it will be a black on black screen for me. Once I can get in. I'll use my blacklight to bright up the place.
