Congratulations to David Braben - Tech personality of the year award

Congratulations David, truly well deserved. Maybe an MBE for all the work he's put in to foster talent in this country.

Unfortunately with regard to graduates I think it's the easy option to bring in trained staff from India into the UK. Mr. Cameron's way of destroying the jobs for our new graduates and then call them lazy when they can't find employment. Firms will only invest in developing talent if they need to. I suppose being a blue blooded tory he wants to turn us back into the landed gentry and the serfs...Not that I'm red or yellow they all seem busy lining their pocket and setting up their fiefdoms once they get in. The others are busy attacking Europe and want to put up the draw bridge. We should be using it (EU membership) like the Germans for our benefit. Why are our so called leaders so inept and incompetent.

I am not sure I want the UK to be part of the EU. I think it will be a trojan horse situation because the UK clearly is owned by the usa. That is where their main allegiance lies. That is why their secret services are so closely working with or being a proxy for america to spy in Europe.

UK doesn't seem to want to be part of Europe. It could be an islander thing. Or mayhaps they still have delusions of grandeur about their lost empire. It seems they want loads of influence in the EU but seem to feel they are above the rest and want no part of it. They want the benefits but not the trouble.

The UK is not a wholly owned subsidiary of the USA as we seem quite willing to sell our assets to almost anyone, including other members of the EU.

Your second paragraph is completely accurate, however.
