Hey - first post to the forums but been on the game for a year or so.
The last fortnight, a friend and I have not been able to play E
on XB1 at all - I can't even get past the initial loading screen, except for maybe 15/30 minutes yesterday after following some of advice given by Frontier Support. Both of our issues began around the same time, and they are the exact same: every time we try and log in we get messages of "Cannot connect to the matchmaking/adjudication servers." We don't live together or share internet, so it seems unusual to me that two of us developed problems simultaneously. It's truly infuriating. I managed to connect to my Xbox to my phone using hotspot, and that seemed to work, but it's hardly a fix, and it confused me even more as to the cause of the problem. I've opened a ticket (Frontier Support are truly great by the way, this isn't a raging post aimed at them at all) and gotten a few suggestions, all of which I followed through with, but none of which have solved the problem. They seem to think it could be my router - which it may well be, the damned thing is totally ancient - and that the fact my friend and I developed problems concurrently is a coincidence, but this seemed unlikely to me. I'm not having issues with any other game or any other device in my home, it is literally just E
, but again FS told me that games can connect in many many ways, so it shouldn't be surprising that it's just their game that has an issue.
Is anybody else having issues?
