Considering getting a second stick; Thoughts?

I'm currently flying around with a Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X, and am considering picking up a Thrustmaster T-16000M since it can be set up for the left hand, for use when in combat and whenever else the need arises. I'm hoping to hear from other Commanders who already play with a dual stick setup, with or without a throttle, etc.
