Rackham’s Peak in HIP 58832 would make for an excellent fleet carrier graveyard, as it can only be accessed via carrier. This functionally locks the system down and makes it our graveyard, with us drinking booze until the end of time…or at least until full transfers from console to PC that include ranks, legacy modules, engineering, Arx, Arx purchases, etc.

That's a crap idea. A petty one too
You'll not hurt FDev, you'll hurt the rest of the players that cannot be blamed because FDev is canceling the Console port.

And technically you wont achieve much - after enough people will complain, FDev will move the carriers by hand... hopefully some 20000 ly from any other station.

I'm going to have to disagree why mess it up for the PC players ? Yes I'm not happy with the console news .
But why disrupt the game for others ?
I don't get it?
So we can show fdev we aren't happy ? Fdev don't care .
So if you want to carry on playing as EDH still has a lot to see and do .
If not walk away thank them for 8.5 months of in game play and find something else to play . There are a lot of other games out there .

Sadly my PS4 finally gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago (it was bought on release) and the email from Sony with the opportunity to buy a PS5 arrived while I was out shopping and walking the dogs, by the time I got back the window had passed by over an hour. Maybe they'll give me a 2nd chance?

Well, on the same note, a couple hours ago i just had the opportunity to order an XB Series X from Amazon.de, but eventually i went "Meh! i better wait for them to hit our stores and get it with next day free shipment instead of paying 20€ and waiting a full week for delivery.
Scalper prices have lowered too, sign that soon they could be found on shelves and online stores at normal price.

So yea, DBOBE announcement had at least the merit to temper a bit my desire to get a Series X

It’s the lack of understanding and empathy from you all that reinforces the need for an in game protest. We simply want the ability to easily move over to PC without redoing everything.
