It’s the lack of understanding and empathy from you all that reinforces the need for an in game protest. We simply want the ability to easily move over to PC without redoing everything.

Frontier said they are investigating such.

I'm sure that if it is possible (perhaps with the console players paying whatever 'penalty' Sony or Microsoft might impose for the export of their accounts) it would be done, after all, lost revenue is lost revenue, isn't it?

As for a lack of empathy, perhaps it is due to such a selfish suggestion being made by your good self? I have no empathy for one who wishes to spite others because they are upset, but I am a grown-up now.

I do not wish to spite others, at least I didn’t intentionally. People like you make it hard though. I will also point out “grown-ups” typically don’t have the need to state they are grown up.

That's what every consoler wants, me included (my main account is on XB and i have there some pretty unique stuff that i would hate to see it lost)

But i wont go as far as asking other commanders to act in spite and block certain systems (like Rackham's Peak or the path leading up there) by clogging them with dead carriers.
That's just silly, no matter how miffed you are by FDev's decision to stop any dev of Elite on consoles

It’s not out of spite, it’s in hopes it prompts action. I’m not angry, I’m motivated. I want to continue playing, I want to give FDev even more of my money. I just want the burden of doing so eased slightly.
It is an occupation, much like we see in real life. It is not meant to harm anyone, however if you find you are inconvenienced by the protest perhaps you also have cause to speak for our desires of having transfers as that is the solution to the problem. Our carriers will be deleted as we move to PC.

Is there really anything for people to get upset about? No there's not. Let him have his graveyard, it not like there aren't another billion systems out there.
