Constant Escapes

Animals are constantly escaping, on the ground even, in the middle of an enclosure, nowhere near a wall of any kind .. costing me 1000s of dollars and ruining this zoo ive spent 100s of hours on.
TEST YOUR %)(#%()%&#()%&#(%&*%#()%&#)(&%)#(%&#)%& GAME before pushing out patches like this ..

$0 in Emergency Captures .. $20,000 in refunds for escaped animals.

Did you guys even load up a zoo before pushing this monstrosity out?

They didn't make macaques the challenge for nothing :p

Not an escape, but this little just walked through the glass like it wasn't there.

The macaque aren't the problem. People don't flee from macaque. I have zebras, red pandas, pandas, and siberian tigers escaping in the middle of their habitat costing my 10s of 1000s of dollars some months.

I thought I was experiencing a temporary bug, but I've had this happen several times now as well! With macaques, but also with zebras and hippos. They're 'escaping' right in the middle of their habitat and if I don't react, they just magically 'un-escape' themselves. All without ever leaving the habitat. It's extremely annoying.

Can I ask whether this is happening on existing zoos or new ones? I'm only asking becuase so far I haven't had this but I've only played new zoos since the update

So far I haven’t experienced this either. I didn’t have much time to play but I built a polar bear exhibit and a few others and didn’t have any problems. Hopefully I don’t start experiencing it tonight.

Mine is a zoo started for the cheetah event - was going to release all the zebra to put in macaques (but now I'm kinda expecting those will bug escape as well).
Hate starting up a new zoo because of the amount of time it takes to complete the mechanical research, but seems I might have to.

Im playing the new scenarios this evening. Is happening all the time in there for me.

But somehow its only happening with the puppies.

Every single patch there is a new game breaking bug.

I refuse to play Franchise anymore. I am so tired of building a zoo from scratch and watching my finances carefully only for these "patches" to completely ruin the park.

I shouldn't have to restart my entire Franchise over and over and over again because of bugs and not because of me.

It's extremely frustrating and I just can't find myself to play Franchise anymore. It's obnoxious.

As far as I can reproduce it, it seems that there is an alert as soon as any animals steps on something which is NOT ground soil.
Regardless if they climb trees, climb some climbing obstacles (default or custom shiningly does not matter) or even step on the outside ceiling of a custom made rock cave right in the middle of the habitat...this alarm goes and my visitors start running.

It is ridiculous!

For me it happens only with puppies. im playing with 5x slowed down aging atm so it takes so time until my animals get some puppies.

Im playing the 2nd scenario atm and havent had any problems with that issue yet. Now the flamingos got some babies and this issue appears again.

Happened to my Zebra Farm where I was releasing zebras or selling them for people who want them (they're well-taken care of zebras!) to put in my macaques for the challenge. Happened to both zebras and macaques.

Then I logged in to my old main zoo to put the macaques back where they came from and it was happening as well. I think it's a problem with old zoos in this new update. I'll share my findings once I start my new zoo.

It does not matter what animal it is for me. I have had Zebra, Hyena, Tiger, Chimpanzee, and Warthog all escape from their enclosures. I have gone from making 40-80 k a year before the update to hemorrhaging money with no changes outside the fact that my animals like to fake their escapes in the middle of their exhibits costing me 20-50k a year in refunds. The image shows my first full year year after the new update with my prior year behind it.

here's an idea, how bout disabling the refunds for escaping animals until you fix the countless bugs that have been reported since release about escaping animals?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!1/1/11//11/

or just ignore it .. like the insta-fighting stuff .. who cares right?

This has not been a issue for me until now after this new update. Doesn't matter of what type of animal. All are still in their enclosures. It rings escape even if one of my orangutans climbs on top the new world flat top hard shelter that is nowhere near the barriers and the said barriers are pretty high so they could not jump over.
Also getting information boards and speakers alerts that they are incorrectly placed but these alerts are coming sporadically. But that topic should be a different thread.

Haha, yep. The second I logged in, almost all of my animals were escaping. >_<

I just watched a lion fly 5x its height to escape an enclosure that used to be adequate. They're all escaping like mad!!

Does this have to do with the animal aging process? :(
