One of the biggest sticking points people have with Planet Coaster 2 is the UI, and how the priority seems to be the console experience. I agree to an extent but, for the main part of the game, I think it's actually fine to work in (if a bit hard to adjust to).
That being said, there's a big part of the coaster builder's UI that I feel could be worked on; the construction and edit modes.
I have no problem with them existing, but I take issue with the way you switch from the former to the latter. It's only one click but, with how you halt everything to go over to a button in the side-menu, it's a very inefficient and clunky-feeling click that makes the coaster-building experience feel slow to me (speaking as someone who likes building and smoothing basically simultaneously).
To me, the more streamlined approach would be to make the existing track selectable in the construction mode, with selecting track taking you into the edit mode. Like a happy medium between how it works now and how it worked in PC1.
I don't have many problems with the coaster builder beyond that - though, I guess it'd make more sense if the angle snap options were in the Utilities tab instead of the Settings tab. And (this is a really small thing but it really bugs me) I kinda wish you could control the multidimensional coaster's yaw on LSM holds like you can with almost every other track section on that model - but this is the change I want more than anything.
