So some more contact panel love and polish.
The Blue Mission Markers (which I love by the way).
USER CASE:
Player attempts to limit the contact list to important information for the mission.
The mission is supposed to be a USS but currently, the Mission Markers is focused on a planetary body.
The USS will appear after player proximity or a scan of the planetary body. The USS could either be (in orbit or on the surface).
The player must have the filter active for both Planetary bodies AND USS, Adding unnecessary clutter.
Having one or both Planetary bodies / USS filtered away could mean the player may "miss" the mission marker.
USER CASE:
Player has filtered local bases, for reasons cargo/data drop etc.etc.
But they also need the location of the Next Mission in a near-by star-systems, which is at the furthest jumping distance and ergo furthest down the list, adding time and frustration to the player to scroll (heaven(s) forbid(s)
)
PROPOSAL:
In either these cases, having the Mission Markers "ignore" the filters so they are always visible, would be a valuable time-saver.
Naturally, this is not a requirement of all players, so a suitable [ * ] optional toggle in the Contact Panels filter system, itself would be appropriate.
[ * ] Mission Markers ignore filter
[ * ] Mission Markers always visible
[ * ] Permanent Mission Markers
[ * ] Apply filters to Mission Markers
