As the title says, beginning to get really P'd off with 30 second jumps in VR which is nauseating, combined with disconnects.
And not a peep from the Frontier.
Instead Frontier have devoted their time to releasing half baked updates which create more bugs. More pointless paintjobs and bobbleheads and they don't bother fixing the really big problems like this one.
Sigh. Frontier I love your game, and I keep buying cosmetics in hope that it helps fund the game more, but please invest more time into fixing the core game and the server issues that have been running rampant for a very long time.
Erm they are down again now and the OP is correct, the number of Discounts has trebled and in VR it is very off putting
5th disconnect while hopping between systems, 3rd day in a row. Maybe I'm not the only one, who knows...
Bug report? Since it's been (at least) the 3rd day they should have the appropriate numbers already and saying "game kicks me, severity: guess what?" wouldn't really augment their data I assume...
They aren't running rampant. I'm not paying 1000$ a month for internet or anything, just have a basic package from the local ISP, and aside from the first launch of DW2 and a couple instances over the next day, haven't had any major issues with disconnects or lag. Have been doing all kinds of wing stuff, mining and racing and made a few hundred jumps since then on my way out to the next stop without any issues.
If your story is different than that, where you're having constant problems, it may not be an issue on FDev's end. Submit a bug report, check the forums for the myriad of helpful suggestions out there on making things better(like enabling IPV6) and best of luck to you.
"Should" being the operative word. If you and everybody else assume "somebody" has sent in a bug report, they're not getting complete data, regarding your system specs, packet loss, etc.
Send in bug reports. 2 out of the 3 top threads today are people complaining about disconnects. Complaining doesn't fix server issues, developers do, aided by, you guessed it, bug reports.

You're not a teacher, are you?
That's a whole lot of tripe and waffle. They have all the logs they need on their own servers to show who/when/how/IP Connection type. Quit making excuses about stuff you seem to know little about.
Calm down children.
There are disconnects, and I feel the OP's pain.
Rational explanation is needed, not emotion.
What would be the point of that?Did you submit a bug report?
