Elite: Dangerous Diaries - Contributors Needed

Hi there people,

I hope it's not too off-topic but I'm seeking contributors for my site, Elite: Dangerous Diaries, the link to which is in my signature. Currently I'm not sure what could make EDD unique but like many sites regarding ED, it features tutorials, hints and tips and currently my "almost daily" log of goings on in ED.

If anyone is looking for a location to contribute their skills and knowledge too, but doesn't want the hassle of running their own site, it might be of interest.

As of today, I'm making this the official EDD news and announcement thread, detailing updates to the site. Such updates will be listed in the first post of this topic.

Well, i just came up with the next cool idea ;).

There are GalNet news in the game, which sometimes announce events with special content added to the game, like Sorbago slave rebellion or "Onionhead" blockade. Some people go there and get a video coverage for the event. Usually they create a forum thread topic, or post them on their youtube site.

The idea is to contact them and ask them to do a report on the situation for the blog- some video coverage and some comments. Of course the idea needs some polishing and discussion, but i believe its a nice start.

Also, there is report about borderline exploit thing i found. I guess that would be a thing to make people interested and adding the blog to their "favourites" folder. But we need to meet and talk about how to play it out.

Neat ideas, and certainly something we can consider adding. As you have access to create draft posts, feel free to add whatever you need.

To all, I appreciate the feedback received to date. I've incorporated many requested changes into the site and now have included a few new diaries and.or video blogs into the site, as well as expanded the forums area a little. Thanks again.
