Control Music via Display-controller

Hi,
i love to play music in my themed areas. As of now, i realized this by simply adding tons of speakers and set each of them to a specific track. This works, but is not very flexible and kind of tedious to set up. Now i had the idea to use a display controller and simply attach the speakers to it, so i can easily switch the music on all speakers at the same time.
And that is the point were i am stuck right now.
I connected displayspeakers and triggered speakers, but none of them will play music, even though i set the controller to a continuous loop.

Can anyone help me to set this up? I do not plan to add anything else, just the music to make all the speakers controllable from one spot.

You have to add a trigger and set the duration of the trigger so you have a set time the sequencer plays.

Without trigger the sequencer lasts only 0 seconds, which obviously is to short to play the track.

You can see in the top of the window how many playtime there is at the moment.

It's not a very wise idea however, because if the music is a bit longer it will not play the full music[wink],because there isn't enough trigger duration to fit a one hour loop of music[happy]

So you need multiple triggers.

It's a hassle to get it to work indeed, that's why the sequencer sucks.

But it's not impossible.

I managed to make it work, even though it is not as smooth as i wished for, it does it's job.
I simply added an triggered object (in my case a speaker with a sound effect) and set it's timer to the duration of my loop. Then it starts everything fine, even when not triggered by a ride. I also managed to create a dramatic soundtrack everytime a train leaves a station.

Thank you for your advice, it was really helpful!

Your welcome.

As most of us on the forum we still hope Frontier comes with a good update of the sequencer because boy, it's not always fun to work with.
