Control scheme question

Hi all.

Longtime Xbox player, but I've also recently bought the game on PC.

Is there a quick way of setting up the controls so they are the same as the Xbox control scheme? I will add custom keybinds, but it would be handy to have the controls I'm used to as a starting point. I will be using an Xbox controller.

Your best bet will be to try/use the default presets for XBox controller, then to adjust to your needs.
Create you "own" binds once done. Elite may...or may not...reset all custom binds IF a controller is not connected OR after an update.

Sometimes Elite wipes my bidings. How do I stop that? It's a pain in the ass to reassign all of the bidings again.

Take the fresh start to get acquainted with pc controls. There are some people who prefer a controller for the SRV, but for flight both KB+M and joysticks/throttles are vastly superior. I normally wouldn't tell some they ought to upgrade their controls, but ya already have a KB+M.
