I've been working on a spreadsheet that may one day be used to create a Control System Placement Optimizer.
I have enough to now pick out interesting systems. My tests have been limited to within 70ly of Cubeo.
I'd like to expand that search bubble to include systems outside of that bubble soon.
Because of the amount of effort that went into making this and my lack of inclusion in AD Operations, I am hesitant to share control system recommendations.
What should suffice is my anonymised collected data. Those of you who know how to collect this data may be able to confirm if it is correct.
I had found 187 candidates. No promises that they don't contest each other. They most certainly do. But I'm betting some of them don't.
The second phase of this is designing an algorithm that can tell me which systems contest with which systems and then how to go through each permutation of control system arrangement and calculate the total CC score.
I have since plotted out these systems in 3 2D bubble charts to look for low hanging fruit to create a recommendation list. Any current control systems that are earn above the overhead are plotted as well. There are 14.
