Just got my Saitek X52 Pro yesterday (good timing eh?)
But immediately there was a problem... my desk and environment layout is a real pain... Here's what I got:

Multiple problems with this...
- The desk is a corner desk so there's not really a long horizontal span. (Yes it's beat up on the edges, it's 15 yrs old)
- The keyboard and mouse used to be on the tray.
- The tray, unfortunately is the sliding variety, and it doesn't have a lock.
- I can't put the stick on the table, or it blocks the monitor.
- I realized I'd want the mouse close by, possibly immediate right of the joystick (yes, Elite has a TON of controls, stick isn't enough).
- I can't really reach the keyboard to type in the current set up.
So... any one else dabble with layouts enough to make some recommendations? Might it boil down to "get a whole new desk on a flat wall"? I'm also a fairly decent woodworker, so I could BUILD something, but even then, I don't know what and where I'd put things
