Hello, I am wondering if anyone has seen the PS4/Xbox One for the game yet? I am worried about the controls, if they are just porting it over to the console with PC controls or will they put time in to make sure it controls smoothly? Any information at all on this would be super awesome! Thanks much for reading!

Nothing has come out about it. But the dev's have said that you can use keyboard and mouse on consoles.
The game’s not a port. It’s designed for the consoles from the ground up. I’ve watched a lot of videos, while they all used PCs many were using the Xbox controller. It’s supposed to be quite intuitive.
I will be playing on my PC. So I am hoping the controls on the PC are fine cause I will be using a mouse and keyboard. M&K is usually the best way to play these types of games if they are PC exclusives. My fear is the controls will be a mess on PC actually. Though Frontier has done plenty of games that are also on consoles. I believe Elite Dangerous was originally made for the PC and then ported over to consoles. JWE will be made for the consoles and will be a PC port so I am hoping they work on the controls for the PC and it works well with keyboard and mouse.

Not on PS4 at the moment, not sure about Xbox.
Judging by the fact in the vids released thus far, you see the devs pick up controller and seemlessly continue using it on vehicles etc, with no input selection required. That to me means the game is very likely designed around console use (especially when the devs state they recommend them for vehicles, at that time at least)
