Controls Menu - EASIER PLEASE

Hello,

We are all very happy that we can finally stretch our legs with the next expansion, although the missions are a bit difficult (going to pick up a document is more dangerous than crossing the Amazon naked and with only a pack of gum), the fact is that the legs have brought us more buttons to control and what do you want me to tell you, I am getting more and more confused, my head cannot accommodate so many controls and more when some are for the same but are in different places: boat, srv or walking.

The implementation of all the controls makes a crazy list, whoever masters them all, please include in your CV that you are sure of something useful in the real world.

For this reason and due to the need to have a more orderly control, I have thought of a solution that I am going to show you in some conceptual designs that I have made, that we could discuss to improve them and make them reach people. by Frontier. so that they do not take it into account for people who do not work every day with excel tables and census lists.

This is my idea (the designs are in Spanish but the concept is understandable):

The tabs are to go to one, then to another, change, change ...
Better all at once, right?

Not really, you have a tab for legs binds, a tab for ship binds and a tab for vanity camera binds, that way it's easier to work on the one you want without having to scroll endlessly to get to the legs binds and etc.
 
What I am missing is pressing a key button and it takes me to where that is used. it is relatively straight forward with a keyboard binds, as we only have one A key, but still going over all the bindings to find where you used "A" is still quite slow. But when you have joysticks and other such devices, we get nice descriptive things like Button 1, but not what device it is on... So if you have a Joystick, Throttle, some custom key panel, then you will have a button 1 on each of these, and then button 2 and so on. so even if you can look through the bindings, you will Button 1, Button 2 etc, from 2 or more devices. that is not good for usability.




The categoreies is a good suggestion. as todays current categories are not clear on where they work or not, with this suggestion, when you enter your SRV, all relevant bindings for SRV are in the SRV bindings! No more hunting around for where some bindings are for menu navigation for example.

that is another thing, I do not have a console, but I do not get why you cannot use a keyboard on consoles.... that to me is plain stupiod for game that have keybinds for many but not all things, and then you restrict console players to only use keyboard for chat or text input. Just look at all the new keybinds we got for On foot content, it was 50 or so new ones... so having an option to press a button and to see where it is bound too would make sense on consoles too.... but I do think PCs are better than consoles...
 
Today I started Odyssey and I had the greatest of joy when I saw the new CONTROLS menu, it seems that something has made my design idea.
Now we need to put two buttons next to the SAVE, the EXPORT and IMPORT, so that we have our configurations safe from patches.
