Is there somewhere where I can find all the keyboard controls?
Also I have a logitech control gamepad, is there somewhere where I can find out what each button does?
I believe I saw another post somewhere about this question but did a search and couldn't kind it. If I remember right, someone said you could set up your controls when you get your first ship. Unfortunately I believe you need to complete the tutorial before you reach this step.

How do you bind the various keys? Do I have to finish the tutorial before I can bind keys?

No, you can find control settings under the options in main menu.
Beware, it's quite a list.

He's right, give yourself plenty of time with this game. It's pretty hard to start off with and there's a lot to learn
