Convoy Beacon?

Anyone dropped on one of these yet?

Was on a trade mission in Quator and saw it in the nav list so I popped in to take a look. Empty.

Was hoping for a ship convoy under attack (say 5 or 6 Type-9's) with an attack/defend option but sadly no.

Not seen them, only what look like convoys in USS. Might be a placeholder, but also could just be the instance didn't populate with ships, happens at the luxuries traders a lot; try leaving and returning three or four times.

Seen it in Durios (sp?) right after the Empire took it over. The convoy beacon was filled with all kinds of ships, IIRC when i scanned them they read as full of sick people or wounded? They were just floating out in space.

I dropped in on one a couple weeks ago and nuttin'...

Got my curiosity all juiced up for nuttin'...
