Guys, I don't want to say too much here, but as I designed the cockpit and own the site that's selling them i'd just like to say that I as and elite fan I designed it (at least the Elite Dangerous edition) for myself and for other Elite Fans to enjoy. We are trying to keep the cost down as low as possible but these sorts of things are not cheap to manufacture, also i'm still working on a few loose ends (hence the pre-order status).
Yes Frontier are aware of it, and we are in discussions re-licensing but at present it is an unofficial product made by fans for fans....

We are having an open evening on Thursday if anyone wants to come and have a play.

I really, really love this CAB, but what's holding me back buying items like this in general is that the pricepoint is totally not in perspective to the pricepoint of the product it is intended for. I love that chair though! Awesome stuff. Just plain awesome.
