So before Jacques Station was found i decided to head out to this crazy planet someone found on PC Forum.

The Good thing is it has 3 moons orbiting it so you can get some good views, haven't got the best yet because of orbits but this is what i have so far. The Better news is that its pretty much directly on the way to Jacques Station for any of you heading that way its a must visit.

I actually have No cargo Racks so i am heading back to bubble but will be around this system for the next few days. If anyone is wondering my Courier has a 15ly range full tank and it took a week to get this far. I didn't think it through :p

NICE. It would be good if you could give a shout-out to the original discoverer though.

I hope this planet stays like this when we get the ability to fly though gas giant atmosphere.

The guy who discovered it was CMDR DUSTY MCDUSTERSON.

Just looked at the closest moon orbital period and its 7.9D so in about 4/5 days will be the best view for anyone heading out here.

I would love to see the composition of this planet. The info panel must have some very interesting information. One time I found a high metal content world with a small percentage of neon in the atmosphere, about .06%
I thought it was an interesting scientific find.

The moon lined up better tonight, so i took my last few screenshots and am just about to head back to the bubble.

OK, thread necro here, but I think all this info belongs in one place, and this thread is as good a place as any. Browsing through an old forum thread, I found reference to another one of these that had been found (that makes three of them in total, if we include Supermoose's Lost Planet), in the Bleia Dryiae HF-W b35-1 system. I just visited there and confirmed. It's even more spectacularly green than the OP's planet, especially around the poles. It's not far from the Lagoon Nebula / Amundsen Terminal area, so it's much closer to Sol than the OP's planet, too.

I will have to check this out at some point, didnt realize others had been found, shame you cant land on the closest moon :(. I recently went back to the original i posted in an Asp.

Still the best view in the galaxy in my opinion.
