Coordinate System like in 3D Programs and resize options

Hey guys,

I'm playing Planet Coaster for a really long time, but there are things, I really don't understand, why there are not implemented..

Planet Coaster has it's main focus on creating and designing scenarios, houses and so on. And the advanced tools (triggered by "x") are a nice feature, which helps a lot. BUT: Why there is no coordinate system for objects? If I want to have a specific element exactly below another one or if I want to rotate an element exactly around 75°, it's such an (unnecessary) pain in the a**. If there would be a panel, where I could change all element's rotation and coordinates, things would be SOOOOOOO much simpler, see that example:

Additionally: And I think, that topic was already discussed plenty of times in the forum, but why I can't resize scenario objects, or objects which don't have a grid? With that feature, every player would surely have quarter the amount of elements in his park as it is right now.

What do you guys think?

Best regards

Great idea, i've also suggested this once with some highly advanced paint skills to demonstrate how a certain feature would look

Also angle snap should go all the way down to 5 degrees for more control over your building.

Yeah, 5 degrees would also be a greater help :D
The thing is.. I know, it's kind of difficult with the coordinate system. What is position [0,0,0]? The center of the park? the park entrance? Or should relative positions be better (like the center of your current building)? I think, that also might be the reason, why the developers didn't add the feature - still I really miss :D

Totally agree.

It is so vexing to try and get elements 'just so'. Allowing us this kind of control would make life a lot easier.

it doesnt really matter what the 0,0,0 position is.

They have positions/coordinates already, we're just not able to see what they are.

I’d love to see scaling. I would also really love to be able to input any angle of rotation on coasters, scenery etc.
