Newcomer / Intro Core mining hotspots post update.

Just a plea to anyone who finds nice core mining hotspots with a reasonable number of cores to post it up. Post update have tried a few systems and found a variety of hotspots, but density of cores is very low. Not sure if this is a bug. Had a nice spot before the update, but of course that has gone. Not bothered what type as I do this for fun and relaxation not to make a pile of money. Thanks.

Core mining. The number of cores is dependent on the ring mass. Use eddb or similar to find the heaviest rings near you. Pristine, I think, means they will be more spots. You will find what you are looking for fairly quickly. Overlapping doesn't affect core mining, only laser mining, so good rings are abundant.

I will keep looking. Just seem thin on the ground so far. But if anyone spots a nice one let me know please. Not interested in joining the rush for the new LTD triple hotspot.

If you here reports of systems collapsing and forming a black hole then it is likely that a large supply of Tritium has been found there and an enormous number of fleet carriers have swamped the system.

Really feel like going to middle of nowhere and crying wolf about this pristine ring with 3x Ltd and then watch the flock of sheep come in, just for lols. When you find a place, becareful who you tell and definately dont post it on the internet

I doubt a Void Opal or Benitoite Hotspot is going to cause any sort of gold rush. Before the update I mined at a well known VO hotspot, which had been posted in several YouTube vids. Apart from the usual NPC‘s the place was empty. That was part of the appeal just some relaxing time blowing up cores.
