Hello there, CMDRs!
The Coriolis.io project (run by EDCD) has been in the process of changing maintainers over the last few weeks. As part of this, the server infrastructure and domain routing for Coriolis are being transferred. We wanted to let you know about this change, what it means in the immediate future, and what it means going forward for Coriolis.
The Immediate Future
As we speak, the orbis.zone and coriolis.io domains are being transferred from CMDR @Fett_Li to myself (CMDR Rixxan). This means that over the next few days, existing shortlinks (such as s.orbis.zone links) or the whole of Coriolis itself may appear offline at times. This is needed as we retire the old infrastructure, transfer the data, and set up the new infrastructure.
We apologize for the inconvenience as we implement this move.
So, more pressing, what does this mean going forward?
@CMDR HollowPointPC and CMDR Rixxan have taken over the day-to-day maintenance and support for Coriolis.io from CMDR Fett_Li. We thank him for his dedication to this project! The project will still remain under the Elite: Dangerous Community Developers umbrella, and will always welcome user feedback, input, bug reports, and code submissions.
As part of this transfer, we'll also be deploying a few fixes and content additions to Coriolis itself, and will continue to do our best to maintain this valuable resource for the Elite community.
As always, if there are questions and concerns, please let us know!
