I'm gonna try a triple APA triple pack hound build for the lolz, thanks @Rebel Yell.
Have to get back though, no targets out here.

Only if one weapon type is turreted, so not with the weapons you mention. I'm trying (haven't taken it out yet) 2x imperial hammers and 3x PAs with a turreted beam. The beam will fire on its own, so I won't have to switch groups. You could put the PAs and Frags on the same button, but I doubt the distro could handle it.Is there a way to fire a third weapon type (the pack hounds) without having to switch between two firing groups?
The problem when pirating is NPCs shooting at your ship when collecting cargo... so prismatics + banks work generally good. We're currently testing this configuration.According to my calculations, Prismatics would require much more powerplant and therefore produce more heat, making this weapon combo not ideal. It would also hinder this ships otherwise nice maneuverability. My Low Draw Bi-Weaves do great. Never drop and come back fast. I never use banks so can't comment on that. This is a PVE scenario though.
One thing we have noticed... is that the C2 under the belly is close to the tail and packhounds shooting from there hit the ship. Using dumbfire missiles requires to keep the nose of the ship very high otherwise the hardpoint will not work. Looks like somewhat terribly positionedI'm gonna try a triple APA triple pack hound build for the lolz, thanks @Rebel Yell.

Nothing wrong with the top speed.I wish the top speed is capped at about 640m/s though.
Mines might work, if not going reverse... otherwise a turret (but turret for me is like a wasted hard point... a scramble or emissive laser is the only one that can be useful for a pirate).Mines or something in a turret to get it further from the hull?
is thermal shock of any use?a scramble or emissive laser is the only one that can be useful for a pirate
Might do too much damage, you can't pirate much from a debris cloud I am told.is thermal shock of any use?
