Not really sure if this is the best place to post this, but it's kind-of a suggestion and request so here we are!
A friend and I both wanted Corvettes, we've been happily grinding away and now we both have one and yeaaa, they're just. fricken. awesome.
One of the things I think FD have really got nailed with Elite is the sound-scape - all of it, the music, the sound effects, and even the oft-criticised crackly voice comms add a sense of receiving the signals over large distance - the sound guys are doing great work imo.
The point, to which I am, by degrees, coming is that the one thing that both I and my friend have found a little disappointing is the Corvette's boost sound - it's a bit anaemic and distant-sounding, and I think it could be beefed-up considerably.
Contrast that with the sound you get on regular throttle-up and throttle-down; There's this gratifying, deep, oscillating thrumming from the thrusters that gives the impression that, even up on the bridge, well away from the engine rooms, the vibrations and sounds dominate when you're on the gas - this sound is so, so right, and I think the boost noise ought to riff on that, and with some considerable punch! - what say you, FD - can we get a new Corvette boost sound file? Preferably one that will make me extremely unpopular with my neighbours in normal use, and blow my sub-woofer if I turn the volume up too much!
