Ships Corvette Build Required

Although I currently use a Krait mk2 for most PVE combat this was probably my favourite Corvette build https://s.orbis.zone/9gzp

The huge beams are fine up to Python level targets for the big stuff the cannons rip up the hull (the force shell experimental is a huge laugh, watching T10s and Condas flying backwards never gets old!)

Replace the cannons with MC's or even turreted frags.

Can't go wrong with my all beams and 2 huge multicannons build.
And lots of armour and big shields ..yay!!

Note:: the 2 tiny turreted beams are just to indicate where the target is hehe

4 x Point Defense? I think you should replace the other 4 Shield Boosters also with Point Defense.

You can never have enough of it!!!
I quite agree! they make a great flak barrage (BSG style) all four are on top so I can watch them take out missiles and prox mines, delightful! ;)

I built mine to solo wing Pirate Lord assassination missions and trap scenario pirate hunting missions.
Turns out she's also great in high intensity Combat Zones where I'm able to run 0-2-4 for pips.

Build: CNR Cane Corso

My Full Metal Jacket SLF Vette. (PvE only)

Armour: This version of the build has full military heavy duty with hull reinforcements. This is unnecessary for most PvE encounters because the shields don't break. This is necessary only when opposing the wing assassination targets or spec ops (they use phasing sequence). Due to this, module protection isn't required. You can happily remove all armour if you're just doing hazres, cnbs or any CZ without spec ops. But with this version, coupled with the shield cell bank for "just in case", you can solo anything human npcs throw at you.

Shields: Bi weave, thermal resistance, fast charge. Too weak to shield tank? The combination of 2x heavy duty shield boosters, 6x resistance aug boosters and four guardian shield boosters results in almost 10k relative shield health versus thermal, 11k explosive and 8k kinetic. That's similar to many prismatic builds but it recharges in 5:13. This is insanely fast recharge rates for this amount of strength. The SCB is unnecessary unless fighting spec ops solo (even then, not always). Use the huge efficient vent beam to prep before firing the SCB and stay on target to keep heat under 100%. Swap out SCB and armour for size 7 collector limpets and cargo racks to farm mats whilst hunting.

Weapons: the huge beam is a heavy hitter for taking out smaller targets mostly, vent for cooling but not required. This can be switched out for anything (I use regenerative in wings for example). It really helps though, particularly with... The large long range emissive pulse on the underside. This hard point isn't optimal but this little baby lets you tag and pull long range targets to save chasing them about, helps you bag quick kill steals in the same scenario, does decent damage versus most targets at a mid range and, most importantly, enhances the tracking of all the other weapons (most useful to counteract the occasional low heat target as well). This improves the huge beam but really shines when the target gets close... The rest are overcharged frags, incendiary except the two small (one drag munitions to slow the target down, one corrosive for obvious reasons). These burn through shields and hull like nothing else. Huge damage. You'll need to synthesise the ammo (recommend doing the shard sites for that). But it's worth it.

SLF (just got elite yesterday) is the multicannons. She rips through hull really fast. It's like having a large MC. And she is great at distracting multiple enemies. The SLF is an exceptional addition and so much fun.

This build is the fastest all round dps for me (small, medium or large targets), takes an absolute beating and is so much fun. My favourite ship to date.

I know it needs work, but her's my build so far. Any suggetions will help. I mostly play in a private group so only going up against npc's

This is what i use https://coriolis.io/outfit/federal_...AOwDAAA=.EweloBhBmUEYBsICmBDA5gG2SEcIEhTFA===

I do go exploring with her collecting raw materials, hence why i went with a big scoop, srv and dss. I use premium ammo for when i want to do alot of combat at a single system, which works well with the plasma slugs

The shields and hull armor stats could probably be improved, but it works for me. I rarely use my SCB, hence why i've not engineered it yet

Railguns for fleeing targets and module sniping, Beams for anti shields and small targets and PA's for anti hull and big targets.

Im training my crew pilot in the slf, MC condor and fix beams taipan. At first i thought she was useless but now she's ranking up i do notice she help out alot, i've probably got better at commanding her too

I did have a collector controller but i just learnt to scoop manually, 16 cargo slots for black boxes or whatever

One suggestion, lightweight your sensors. This will bring your jump range up from 17.5 to 18.76.

Yes, i'll do this, i though light weighting them would reduce the range but it reduces the scan angle instead

I don't mind the poor jump range tbh, currently 1200ly ish away from the bubble, i'm still enjoying flying the ship. Only thing i might change is swapping the cargo rack and srv hanger around so i carry 2 srv's.

This is a build I currently contemplate (just yesterday reached Rear Admiral rank unlocking the FatCorfat)

More of a jack of all traits with >300 cargo space, there is plenty of flexibility, add another shield booster or two (don't have prismatic shields), bigger or no fuel scoop, more HRPs, 7A SCB maybe.
I also only get the Packhounds on the weekend, and those could also be replaced by something more conventional, gimballed MCs, rails, plasmas, cannons, ...

I've changed the weapons out abit, plus the sensors, whilst im waiting to unlock the prismatic shields. And although im at grade 3 with all the weapons and not put any experimentals on my PA's yet, im finding this set up more easier and fun to use. Plus those huge Pa's really do hit hard! Not to bad on the distributor, plus this should improve when i get lv 5 Pa's

This is roughly my current Corvette PvE build - great for HazRES or assassination missions. I still need some engineering on a couple of the HRPs to get there completely but I'm basically there:

Why do so many of you skip dual class 7 SCBs for some measily guardian shield boosters?
The single biggest advantage of the Vette over the Conda is the three class 7 slots.

That's my PvE Corvette and it has 9400 mj raw shield strength with a biweave due to the banks.

I hate SCBs. The fact that you can be successfully chipping away at another ships shields and then they “magically” recharge - with no way of knowing when, or how many times, that might happen - is phenomenally annoying. So therefore I don’t use them myself on principle.
