Game balance. That and not being able to get sufficient DPS out of a Corvette right now is a build issue. We start that we might as well add large hardpoints underneath the Cutter, a second huge on the Anaconda and the Vulture would be more efficient as a combat ship if it had a central medium hardpoint to add a railgun.

The difference is Corvette is a warship through to the core. Cutter is multipurpose, anaconda doesn't require mind numbung grind. Id really like to put my PAs on the huges and my bank cancel hammers on the nose. If im gonna fly a ship that cant jump, has little muotipurpose capability but is a literal warship i would like better weapons. Im sot saying it should have 6 huge hardpoints and a class 20 distributor but this minor upgrade wouod make this ship much easier to use in combat as ut would give rails (or PAs) much better convergence. I love Corvette and in a 1v1 its unbeatable (if ur not a bad pilot) but having to fully cancel an 8A bank with 2 small rails is very hard as its 3 shots for full cancel unlike having 2 hanmers which you can just nail it twice and get a full cancel. The location of the C2s make canceling banks on anything thats NOT a corvette, anaconda or cutter (or other very large ships) extremely hard as missing shots is imminent.
