Corvette vs Cutter PVP

I own the Corvette fully engineered and the Cutter.
I dont know which one I should use for my main ship.
Can i get some advice which one is better and why?

Cutter: Faster, and hands down the toughest shields in the game (up to around 11,500 MJ), but not as good weapons as the Corvette with its two Huge hardpoints. The Corvette is more maneuverable than the Cutter, but not as fast. Depends on how you want to play the game, really.

Cutter will usually win, CMDR experience and ship loadouts being equally up to task, mostly because it can dictate range more easily and has the potential for a much larger total shield pool.

That said, it doesn't take that much of an edge in player ability to tip the scales in favor of the Corvette and I find the vette vastly more entertaining to fly...both because of it's flight model and because it's not as safe a ship to be in.
