Cosmetic helmet offerings that are less... outlandish? (and matching color themes?)

I appreciate the variety of the helmets and the gear, but sometimes I want something that looks more like standard fare than either a space cowboy, a space madness pirate, or a mismatched laborer with a cone hat.

I have been unhappy with the appearance of my space faring suits, particularly the artemis suit. Ideally, I would like it to look like my black space suit like it did in horizons, or at least something close to that. Instead, I am able to become bright green, or varying shades of white that can't be mixed and matched with other suit offerings without horribly mismatched colors even when described as the same color name. And the helmet is clear, no matter what. Well, unless you want to completely cover the face with a laser space cowboy helmet. I used to be able to choose a dark visor or a clear visor, depending on my preference.

Easiest fix to this that I can see, is to sell a basic black or dark gray version of the Artemis livery, with a darkened visor (and a clear for those who want that).
Maybe to have a color highlight palette, but something simple that can be mixed and matched with other set pieces (blue, red, white?)

And, please, for the love of pete, can we have a cosmetic set that looks futuristic without being over the top? If I could equip the basic flight suit cosmetic on every loadout I would absolutely do so. At least, until I was given an option to wear something that looks like a functional and modest space armor (artemis is the closest to that).

I'll be happy to spend the money once I have something that is appealing to put the money towards.

I know many others like to look weird wearing all these festive suits (like Halloween ones), but for me these elements simply break immersion. I am ok with paint jobs customization, but I would like all other physical elements (such as hats, scarfs etc) to be done more like "holographic" one could "project" on top of functional space suit. And maybe a switch for my suit visor to block these projections.

And since this topic touches paint jobs - FDev for the God's sake please make nicely looking fleet carrier paint jobs - most of the current ones (imo) just terrible. Please create something like competition, share 3d models of fleet carriers or textures samples, so that one can come up and submit their ideas and add the best ones to the game.

I agree.
I want color matching.
When it is namend "Sand" i want a color for "Sand" which is the same in other Outfits. Sometimes it is orange, sometimes it is more like beige and sometimes "Brown" seems to bei "sand" but is copper.

You just can't match the outfits :/
Same goes for the ships... Because "Sand" is again something different than on my suits.

I would live to see power specific suits and accessories. like a federation set that looked corporate, a flashy set for the Empire and so on. Also a set that looks more like a military uniform. (also power specific)

That right there. Having a few color themes is great, but please let me be sure that if I want to have a thematic matching color set, that "Sand" is "Sand" on each. Get some color palettes that are consistent in name category.

"Color 01" would have, say, purple, green and black. All outfit parts would have a uniform presence of those colors. You get "Color 01" for your ship, you get a consistent purple/green/black color distribution that would color match your space suit. Just because I'm alone in space doesn't mean I don't want to be fashionable...
