Could play game, now I cant

I bought Planet zoo last year, and have 80 hour of gameplay. I have not played in a few months as I have been playing other games. But the game has been updated via steam in that time. I thought the other day I would play it. But couldn't, the game just goes all black and pretty much freezes my PC. Sometimes I hear the intro but cannot see anything. I cant window out and I cant ctrl, alt, delete either. I looked up the issue, and did everything suggested. Re-installed the game, turned off mods, graphic cards up to date and re-installed the update to make sure. Tried to play the game in window mode, turned off the graphic card Geforce app, made sure windows up to date, shut down any apps that are not needed to run to run the game, and nothing worked. Tried everything suggested and the game goes black and wont load. Nothing on my computer has changed since the last time I played the game, so not a hardware issue.

So I now have an unplayable game sitting in my account until a patch comes along and fixes the issue. Bit disheartening, hopefully will be rectified soon or hopefully someone in the same boat as me may have a solution, as I am all out of ideas.

Make an exception for planetzoo game/.exe

Looks like you tried a lot, re-installing the game is imo the best attempt.

The only thing I can think of, is conflicting software. (which you already tried)
I think you're better off, sending a ticket to Frontier support for this one. (not the issue tracker but an actual ticket to Frontier)
