Could Thargoids be REARMING over REFUELING??

I flew out to the barnacle forest in the system which the Gnosis had recently jumped to. While driving around I noticed a lot of corrosive/acidic looking markings and stains surrounding the area:

I thought I had saw these markings elsewhere before, so after a short hop and jump to the wrecked megaship not far from The Oracle station, I noticed these markings:

Could the Thargoids be rearming themselves at the barnacles over refueling?

What're your thoughts?

One question though, why would they be expending ammunition right in the middle of their ammunition dumps?

Maybe it's a possible 'overflow' from the barnacles. Perhaps they can only store so much inside them? Maybe it has more purposes then simply eating through our hulls and that this is a base for other barnacles to grow from? Perhaps not, otherwise all barnacle sites would be forests. Simpy could be that the Thargoids dropped some during their refueling/re-arming?

I'm honestly not sure. Just noticed the similarities and thought someone smarter on here could piece the puzzle together ^^;;
