Could use some advice

I just had a more than thrilling moment with the Dangerous part of Elite.


Undocked my type 9 and was exiting station when an AI type 9 coming in got jammed in the toaster grill. It couldn't escape. My time to exit expired. Station blew me up.

I couldn't figure a way out of the dilemma.

1. Any ideas?

2. I lost 5 million credits. Any recourse?

Log off and back on - your ship should spawn outside the station.

Log out and log in you find yourself just outside the station.

This is about the only occasion that the logout 'fast undock' trick should ever be used
