Could we get a little bit of control over autosaves?

I would like to be able to tell the game how often to autosave. Every once in a while the game will freeze for me, including the entire computer making the computer unusable, can't even switch applications or even start task manager.

I would just like the autosaves to happen more often while I build so I don't end up losing an hour+ of work because the game saves whenever it feels like it. Just a drop down in 10 minute steps would work.

You can, just go to your Planet Coaster saved games folder on your PC and edit the save_remote config file. Interval should be set at 600 seconds by default (but you appear to be suggesting that's not happening for you?) but seems this can be edited to whatever you like [up]

huh!, interesting... Thanks for the tip [up]. But yeah, this last loss was only 15 minutes, but it's been much longer before. I am not in my game computer right now, but I will check what it is set to tonight.

thanks [up] I did not know about this, and it might be nice as an in-game option

Ok, so I did not change the setting and I tested it out to see how long it takes between auto saves. They are supposed to be the same amount of time apart, but I have 1 at 7:11 PM, the next one at 7:25 PM, and the following one at 7:45 PM. Not consistent at all, but at least they are not an hour apart, like they used to be.

Hmm.. Yeah, sounds just like it. i just checked again and the saves were 10:38, 10:59, then 11:59. Not consistent at all, seems like the longer you go the more time in between. i guess it's a bug.

I have random bluescreens when playing Planet Coaster and I would be very happy if we would be able to set the time for Autosaves - and it would be really amazing if we could have more than 3 autosaves (5 or even 7 would be amazing for me).

I hope this is something that can be done as it would help a lot :)
