Could we have some missions to recover a nasa deep space mission like buck rodgers?

Hi hope you are all having a good weekend playing elite dangerous out in the black
I would not mind a mission like this to find a lost Nasa Space shuttle, power it up then and escort it back to earth

Ok prob 2 centurys out but maybe we could recover some other nasa deep space probes

or maybe just go and find a lost Space Shuttle (Orbiter) and get the data from it.

I was under the impression that the spacecraft was called the space shuttle that is not correct
after reading the book by Rowland White called Into the Black. the whole thing is the space shuttle
the massive fuel tank and 2 solid rocket boosters. The craft that comes back is the orbiter.

anyway. would be nice to go out there and find a lost nasa space craft.

you can search and visit both voyager probes in the game.

Trouble is, there are thousands of players and I don't think NASA would have lost thousands of ships... Those sort of missions wouldn't work here.

There are generations ships, but there's no missions involving them, which I hope changes someday.
