Dinosaurs Could we have the proceratosaurus not kill the hadrosaurs?

The proceratosaurus is currently classified as a small carnivore in the game, and technically small carnivores are capable of killing defenseless dinosaurs. However, it is still weird to see a dinosaur that is small and scrawny like the proceratus could leap up so high and takes down hadrosaurs like the edmontosaurus, olorotitan, and parasaurolophus with herculean strength. Even more so when the dinosaur lacks a lot of what makes the other small carnivores super deadly like the velociraptor's and deinonychus' sickle claw, the troodon's venomous bite, and the herrerasaurus' weight. Dilophosaurus is also odd but I wish for that dinosaur to have a unique takedown that utilizes their paralyzing venom.

This will make the proceratosaurus a unique small carnivore where it could be housed with some of the dinosaurs other small carnivores would otherwise kill. Mechanically it makes sense too as this dinosaur would be the first level small carnivore the player may unlock and utilize if they got the DLC, tricking player in a false sense of security that other small dinosaurs of similar stature could be housed with hadrosaurs. It will also make the troodon more deadly as it is a smaller creature of the proceratosaurus but could kill larger dinosaurs due to the venom. Otherwise, the proceratosaurus is still the same small carnivore which engages in fights with other small carnivores, pachycephalosaurids, and could kill small herbivores. Interestingly, I think they could have only face offs with iguonodons, but will not engage in fights with them due to the differences in size and strength.

Here are some scale images of the proceratosaurus, troodon, and edmontosaurus to a human. It is one of those things that is weird as the troodon is slightly smaller than the proceratosaurus, but the proceratosaurus could easily lunge and one shot a giant like edmontosaurus. Makes me wonder why would the troodon even bother poisoning her giant prey at all if they could just do the same lunge attack as the proceratosaurus.

i'm agree.
I find it totally ridiculous, that such a small thing is capable of killing a large herbivore like the edmontosaurus or the parasaurolophus.
A lone raptor should also be unable to do so. unless they are in a pack.
Since the game currently lacks a means of pack hunting, I would not mind the velociraptor being able to kill the hadrosaurs as it would make their breakouts just as exciting and fit their roles of really dangerous dinosaurs in the JP universe. At least this will help make the proceratosaurus feel unique by having her be more compatible in expense of a lower star rating.

Let me expand on this. Make the Dilophosaurus poisonous so that it can hunt like the Troodon. Also make the Velociraptor, Deinonychus, and Herrerasaurus hunt in pairs to kill the larger ornithopods. Otherwise, they wouldn’t bother. If they do give unarmored herbivores a 50% chance to escape carnivores like Ceratosaurus and Tyrannosaurus, the chance to escape this double attack should decrease to 40%. As for Iguanodon, the fight should be one carnivore fighting it face to face dealing and bearing full damage while the other attacks on the side bearing no damage but dealing half. I chose this position to be fixed instead of switchable to give the Iguanodon the best chance of winning. If the Iguanodon manages to get the carnivore in the alpha position for lack of a better term to 1% health before it’s too late, it kills it while the carnivore in the beta position, again lack of a better term, retreats.

I like it. I have already written something about it (among other things). you should read it, i think you will like it :

If this would happened, they should make the armored herbivores stronger
