Could you put the original flavor DBX skin up on the Frontier store?

I can't be the only one that preferred the old look...

If only it was a free option to change the skins.

Oh that's right, this game isn't subscription based so every visual addition needs to be charged so Frontier have a slight hope in hell they can keep this game running for 10 years.

You sound like you have a problem with a cheap to play game.

Actually I just bought a DBX and was hoping for that skin though the new default ain't that bad either.

Chose the "Black Friday" skin for my first exploring mission and now regret it. The all black skin makes for horrible screen shots! Think I'll find a nearby port and go back to default.

Been awhile since I BH'ed but doesn't the AI still use that skin?

AI can use pretty much all skins. :)

Yup, I was a bit disconcerted when I went back to get the 'Yellow Submarine' out of storage only to find that it wasn't yellow anymore.

Oooh, nice! Not as iconic, but looks cool and seems more... sane in a combat role. :p

My Sidewinder, Eagle, Viper Mk III, DBS, DBX and Vulture are yellow. It's a completely sane color for a combat ship.

Sane is not the word I would use for any combination of DBX and combat role. :D

That's because you didn't use it with a yellow point job. Yellow makes combat ships better at combat ;)

i beg to differ. my DBE with L5 dirty drive tuning is a bit faster and a bit more nimble than a vanilla a-grade DBS - and it has a LARGE MC <3

Main problem for me isn't that much the turn rate but the acceleration and deceleration. L5 DDT helps a lot wit the DBX, but the biggest difference, in my opinion, made the rank 5 charging enhanced distributor. More power to engines while still getting the weapons capacitor filled up. Doesn't turn the DBX into a ship I want to be in if a Elite NPC Vulture, FAS or Anaconda attacks, but for lower ranked NPCs is a fun combat ship. Certainly better than a Keelback ;)
