Couple Livery and Interface questions....

Is there some way when in Outfitting, to look at your ship how it's going to look in space?
Here's why I ask....
I spent some Arx on what I thought was a killer paint job... see here:

only to have it look like THIS when I got out in space!

Seriously??!! Ugh!! Would really love a way to be able to also move the camera around while in Outfitting, if that's possible? It's really difficult to see a lot of things or understand where things are being placed with the angles they give. None of the normal camera controls seem to work

You can use the store menu.

There you can turn the camera around the ship and turn on and off lightning.
No idea if that makes a difference in the above case though.

There is a very good store interface where you can preview any livery on any ship, rotate the camera, and turn on/off lights. If I remember correctly you can get to it from the Station menu, or Game Extras on the main menu.

I think you can move the camera (dunno settings).
I usually Google the ship and PJ and have a look at other people's screenshots.

Edit: apparently you can change the lighting.

I seem to remember when they unveiled ARX they said all sorts of view options were available (not in space though), I’ve tried to access these but like everything else, there are a lot of settings and I’m dim, lazy and dim.

A bright white or blue star nearby? Star color greatly affects certain paint jobs.

LOL!!!

Oh, the STORE has the camera! OK, that's kinda weird that you can't use the same interface in Livery... I'd never used the Store before.
OK, camera question solved.
Now, why the heck did the paint color change so bad!
Someone mentioned the color of the nearby star.... well, ok, that makes sense. Annoying, but ok. Guess I'll have to search Google images for examples of others', like someone suggested.
