Newcomer / Intro Couple of Questions

First question is is a game mechanics/UI type of question:
Is there a way of Hiding the entire UI in order to take a screenshot. On a cursory flip through I really didn't see anything like that, but it is entirely possible I could have missed something like it.

Second question is more of an in-game ship capability one:
So... me an my Hauler, which I have affectionately dubbed my Space Yugo, have managed to accumulate a bit over 400K in credits almost enough for me to comfortably consider a Cobra. However, is there another choice for a Trader/Space UPS person at about this level?

No clue about the first question.

You next choice for a trade ship is the Lakon Type 6 which is 1 million credits.

Currently the Cobra is the next logical step up from a Hauler for cargo work. You can go on to upgrade the cargo in the Cobra to double it's initial capacity, bringing it close to the stock Type-6!

There is a hide UI button, I've heard people mention is although I don't know what it is!

Trading ship upgrades go something like: Sidey -> Adder -> Hauler -> Cobra -> Type-6 -> Type-7 -> Type-9

Either SHIFT+ALT+G, or CTRL+ALT+G will take care of that HUD for you. I forget which right now. The Adder is a nice step up from the Hauler, remember that any new ship is going to need some basic upgrades before it is an improvement to your current ship. There is nothing worse than blowing your hole wad on a new ship, just to realize you have half the jump range and half the cargo space.

Looks like I will see about getting that cobra after all... first to get about another 100k to over incidentals like insurance, and that first cargo run or two. I am a bit of a careful trader and don't over extend myself. I'll still keep an eye out on this thread though for the info on the UI hiding. Wish I could remember which system it was I saw that Orca for sale that thing looked awesome...
