Short bit of info: I downloaded a pre made Monorail station building from the workshop. It looks great but when I try to connect all the queues and pathways to the entrance and exit and the internal toilet block and Info kiosk I have a problem. Because the building has a floor, it is raised slightly from the ground so when ive added in all my paths and queues and try to then connect them to the outer main pathway of my park, they are at two different heights and I cant connect them at all. The only solution is to allow the game to auto snap the two but that creates a slight ramp in the pathway which guests then clip through. What I need to do is be able to fine tune the height of pathways so that they at least look a bit more aesthetically pleasing as this is something that really annoys me and caused me to quit after spending 2 hours trying to figure it out. So I guess my question is how can I fine tune queue and pathway heights?
Which brings me to my next point. When I had an idea of creating my own station I found the building process to be utterly complex. It looks easy in the tutorials ive seen but when trying to do something myself I struggle. As an example, When I place the first part of a wall, a grid appears. I cant freely place anything that doesn't conform to that grid so when I have a one metre gap between walls and a minimum wall width of two metres in my inventory what do I do?
I want to love this game, I really do, but Ive got 10 hours of play time and so far all ive built is a straight path.
