Course plotting - has it been sorted

Just wondering as the last few days plotting courses of up to 900 LYr takes but a few seconds now compared to the long delays previous.

'Previous' when? As far as I'm aware, there haven't been any changes to the route plotter since they did some work on it with the Engineers update. It still tends to choke somewhat when plotting long distances in dense star fields, though not as badly as it used to some months back.

Are you near the centre of the galaxy (within 5kly). If so google "route plotting in the core". If not I dont know the bug you are talking about so cant help.

I was asking if work had been done on the route plotter. I have plotted over 900LYr route in seconds today and the last few days routes of over 600 Lyrs were plotted almost instantaneously , last week this would have taken 15 minutes or more and I am still in the galaxy core so dense star fields. Quite a difference in the plotting time.

I didn't mention the word bug. I know about "route plotting in the core". The route plotting is much faster for me now, just wondered if there had been work done on it. Didn't ask for your help either.

I haven't seen anything in the change-logs, but as Alex says it is very location-dependent. Ship/range dependent too.

Righto sorry then. Im on sketchy internet on a tropical island with a few too many cocktails so saw your post and chrned out the most common issue peoplw have with slow route plotting.
Since you were asking about it I assumed you were looking for assistance and presumably thought something was causing it bug or otherwise. Sorry again safe to say I wont bother you with any (albeit somewhat drunken) help again. Goodbye.
