Cowboy Bepop & ED Cross Over.

I was just thinking how amazing it would be to have the Cowboy Bepop Universe to cross over into ED. I would love to see the Hyperspace gates they have connecting galaxies in ED. Just to have that part of the scifi universe in this one, would pretty amazing.

What do you guys think?

I would love to see some kind of warp nodes connecting different games. For instance jumping from ED to the SC or LT universe and back again...

I can relate that the dynamics of the show it self and narration is different than the dynamics we are use to in ED. But out of curiosity I challenge anyone who hasn't seen the show to just watch an episode. I believe the Space Station Dynamics we could see in future ED design could closely follow this "Bounty Hunting" type of universe that Cowboy Bepop re-introduced back in the 90's.

Just ship in to say Cowboy Beebop is ace, but I dont htink it fits with ED. However I would pay money for a Smart-Dog Corgi Copilot .... Or Fey as copilot. :)

I would have those two^^ any day on my ship!

I am just imagining space stations laid out similar to that of the CB universe. Unique trade, bounty and relationships that can be made across the universe.

Although the ships might not be compatible realistically, having the opportunity to mod in the future would be unique as David as proposed as a future possibility.(1)

Yeah, all Animes are made for 5 year old kids, just like video games are toys only for kids. And comics are only for kids... pretty ignorant...

I think that could work, but just those gates. See you later space cowboy. ;) (to others)Please don't judge me Just because I refuse to limit my game movie and other virtual/digital entertainment by what others see as "childish" or "imature." I'll give most anything a chance from anime to Death Metal, I hapen to like anime so what? I also tend to win at chess more often thann ot and do well on other tasks considered mentally testing by some. I really don't like stereotypes, in case you hadn't notticed. :D

i'm guilty of not liking firefly.
mostly because i really wanted to like it...and it failed to get me to. this was very depressing.

I meant they both had "space western" vibe. The important thing is that there was a spce western that you did like. The genre could use more shows.

I love firefly, but i totally know what you mean... it is one of those series that you either love or hate. Nothing in between.
I like Cowboy Bebop too, especially the characters. Its a shame it is pushed into the japanimation drawer here... its a series worth watching for sure. And it has an awesome soundtrack too.

However, to come to the topic of this thread... i wouldnt like a crossover... jumpgates and the limitations of spaceflight in the CB universe simply doesnt fit the massive ED universe.
In CB for example, jumpgates are used to transfer ships within a single solar system. No interstellar travel is present in that universe. They use normal cars, normal firearms and the cities look like todays
cities... thats totally not, what i want for Elite: Dangerous. I like it like it is.
