CQC CQC 0200hrs UK

Decided to boot up and try CQC for the first time, however, I cannot find any matches across all three game modes?

Is this tumbleweed effect normal for 0200hrs? Or are players using private server/squad matches?

I'm from UK too and I usually find that even popular systems are empty any time past midnight.

Yeah, I even played at 6 PM EST today (damn you Daylight Savings time! ) and outside of just plain vanilla FFA Deathmatch, I had a hard time finding any games. I still got a good solid hour and a half in of play in Deathmatch, but if I couldn't find many games at prime time in 'Murica, I doubt there'll be many past midnight in the UK. Sorry to be a doom-and-gloomer. (It's especially sad since I'm trying just now to make a CQC YouTube series...)

There certainly are some troubles with matchmaking. A lot of people complain about not being able to get into a match.

Shame you cannot queue while you are playing the 'real' game mode

I'd be more inclined to give it a go then.

Wonder if the matchmaking is regional based? I would have thought there is no quiet time really online these days, but have seen other games use regional restrictions meaning places like Australia you can never find a 'local' game. Might just be matchmaking issues or no one playing though.

I like CQC but I find the adrenaline hit from one deathmatch to be the same effect as a strong coffee - so no CQC for me after nine! I do however find a quick round at 2pm to be useful to get past my post lunch fatigue and actually get some work done in the afternoon!

Due to a injury I have, I have to stay home from work. So I can get the opportunity to play every day at irregular and regular hours. And since I do get bored alot, I've done this alot. I have at most waited 10 minutes for joining a match, but most often I don't need to wait longer than 1 minute. So it is strange to me when you guys are saying that you have to wait this long.

Nope.

The only place for NPCs in CQC would be a training module that counts nothing towards your rank.

edit: finally had a few rounds today! Balanced matchmaking ain't it
