CQC Best times to find players

I'm new to Elite. Been playing in open play for about a month, mostly trading but got involved in a couple of community goals which has got me more into bounty hunting....allbeit with my original Sidewinder.

Decided to try CGC out a couple of times to improve my combat, knowing I'll get a pounding but happy to learn the hard way. Anyway, I can't get a game. Never seems to be enough people to get a game going. Is there an ideal time when it seems to be busy? Are there groups who stage CGC events that I could hook up with....noob friendly groups

Ive never played it. I dont know many who do. Its not that popular. Not really much help that but I guess thats why its so hard. Probably a weekend maybe

PBSF run CQC Tuesdays, and I'm pretty sure they have a PS4 presence.
Or you can organise your own CQC match, you just need six players

PC, Xbox and PS4 players. The bulk is PC players though.
The more console players come in the better it works.

ElitePS runs a CQC Party every Sunday at 20:00 UTC.. And Elite Dangerous Hub does their event 5-6 Hours after ours

They really should make CQC free to play, maybe on PS+? You'd get lots of players and probably a shed load of sales of the main game. I only tried CQC when it first came out and it was great fun in VR, not touched it since but would like to shake off that poor rank tarnishing my commander record....
