CQC CQC Broken ?

Now CQC Death match hangs with 10 players waiting, it says " waiting for players to join "
That's either or both of
- the "how did you get 10 players into a max-8 lobby in the first place" bug (there's something weird with squads which can do it) where it won't start because you need between 4 and 8 players
- the "stuck lobby" bug where so far as we can tell one of the players loses connection while in the lobby, but it doesn't consistently process it. The most reliable solution is for everyone to leave, wait a few minutes, and then rejoin - but coordinating that is obviously really tricky; the secondary solution is to take everyone you can, switch game mode, and it'll probably be working again by the time you get back to it later.
 
So i though i would dust of the controller and spend half an hour on CQC (cant quite connect)....

30 mins of search, so pretty dead unless you can arrange a time with friends... Nice to see who much this system as moved on (Kidding) and how ED took into account all the feed back from the community (Kidding)

is CQC not an embarrassment for ED... can't use it unless you use 3d party communication... cant just log in and play unless your very lucky ><

Totally skipped the thargoid stuff, once you seen it on YouTube, you have seen the best of it. unless you like killing another skinned AI or community goals, its much the same...

Imagain what would happen to CQC if you had is so you could have a special CQC flying Thargoid drones, once unlock.... would bring some life back.. but this will be another ignored community suggestion....

CQC could be the place where player get to be the thargoids and keep it out of them main game and lore...and fix this embarrassment... but you wont listen...

I think Targoid CQC would be cheesy and just another run of the mill shooter MP where one side is the good guys and the other is the bad.

CQC needs to be brought into the main game. Make it a system that requires a permit (Horizon Owners). Make it a station where you can participate, watch, and gamble on events.

Add more events. Arena, SRV races, Fighter races, also have ship class size races. I think it would get a lot of people interested instead of a whole separate section just for CQC.

sadly, what you have said has been said to FD many times, for a long time... no progress yet... why i say they have ignored the community...

But my suggestion.. just wanted to put forward something simple (or at least more simple that what has been put forward before)... a token effort from FD, a small step to development. I don't think it would be cheesy, but that's a personal perspective as is yours :)

Not gonna comment on the 'status bar', saw that thread, and posted here as my post and this thread aren't related to the status bar topic

If we're going to involve Thargs, set it up as a co-op mode. So you've got 4-8 players fighting off increasingly nasty waves of alien attackers, trying to defend a base or just stay alive.

(Obviously we need some appropriately scaled thargoid opponents for that, of course).
