CQC CQC Chaff???

Can someone explain to me how chaff works in CQC? My ship doesn't have it in the loadout (although every other ship seems to have it, even those with a lower rank) and my usual joystick/key bonding for it appears to do nothing.

Making CQC kinda dull given that everyone else has this magical power.

It causes your gimbals not to lock on them for about 3 seconds.

You either wait it out before blowing them up or you just untarget and aim manually.

There's nothing magical about it, some people trust in it too much, and only the Condor carries them. (The Condor is an egg shell so it pretty much needs them)

Chaff is for the Condor only, the other ships won't have it.

In a jam, deselecting and reselecting will give you a half second of aiming or so, even with chaff. I'd be tempted to call that an exploit, albeit, not a very good one.
