I was searching for a arena match for about 30 minutes. But I could not find a game. I thought of a idea to bring the currently dead mode back to life. CG's based on CQC could easily bring some players back to the mode whilst providing players with a refreshing experience. Just a idea for people to think about. Players at the top of these CG could be rewarded with credits or engineering matirials.
CQC community goals = a breath of life.

Yes, please. It's quite embarrassing to sit waiting for someone appear in CQC: no one appear, never!
But how would you base a CG on CQC? They're 2 separate games (and therein lies the problem).
I dont know how they would do it. But the assets are in the base game and the coding is in the base game. Just need a way to implement it. Seems a waste to just let the 10000$ project just die. I got into a deathmatch game after waiting 1 hour, best fun I have had on elite in a long time.
It's an interesting idea that's been kicked around before. Unfortunately there's probably quite a bit of effort involved to make it work, and if FD is going to invest significant effort there are other things that would have a bigger impact (e.g. AI bots or the ability to queue for matches while playing the main game).
