CQC CQC Gameplay

Hello,

Back after a break due to burnout, Does CQC affect my character in open play? Or is it a separate game mode, don't want to risk anything till I know for sure?

It's separate.

It provides credits to your in-game commander - that's the extent of the effect (apart from the 4th rank progress indication....).
