Let us send our fighter pilots away into CQC. There could be a timer counting down on your dashboard showing how long they will be gone for.. They would show up in CQC matches with our Commanders name that would say they are our pilot. They earn expereince and cash when they return from CQC but also double as a match player filler if theres not many online.

Lore wise maybe even make it a sports scene in the elite universe/ Or something to that effect.
